The index of Borsa Istanbul (BIST), Turkey’s main stock exchange, was up at the opening of the morning session today.

The benchmark BIST-100 index increased 901.79 points from the closing session yesterday and opened at 71,542.29. Stocks gained 1.28 percent in value.
