At least 11 outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants were killed in the southeastern province of Turkey on Sept. 29, according to official statements.
Six militants were killed in an air-supported operation in the southeastern Şırnak province, the statement from the provincial governor’s office said.
In a separate statement issued by the governor's office in Diyarbakır, another air-backed operation killed five terrorists in the southeastern province.
A total of six Kalashnikovs, three rifles, three hand grenades as well as ammunition were seized in the operations.
