Ukrainian women start campaign to deny sex to Russian men

The shirts read "Don't give it to a Russian," and proceeds from their sale will go to the Ukrainian army.

Following Crimea's annexation by Russia, a number of groups in Ukraine have started protests against Russia. One of these groups is made up of Ukrainian women activists, who have launched an original campaign to deny Russian men sex, Time magazine has reported.

As part of the campaign, T-shirts with the slogan, "Don't give it to a Russian," are being sold on the group's Facebook page.

The funds raised from the sale of the T-shirts will go to the Ukrainian army.

Word of the campaign, however, has spread rapidly across Russia, with many Russian Internet users mocking the protest.

Ukraine's acting president had announced on March 23 that Ukrainian troops had been given orders to withdraw from Crimea following the peninsula's seizure and annexation by Russia.
