Refreshing setting for jazz music at Sabancı Museum A perfect night of jazz at the Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre awaits guests of the 19th Istanbul Jazz Festival this evening. The concert starts at 9 p.m., and tickets are available at Biletix booths.

The show will begins with the silky vocal stylings of Lyambiko, and continuing the night’s delight will be young bassist, vocalist and composer Esperanza Spalding, one of the biggest breakout stars of 2011. Spalding received the 2011 Grammy for Best New Artist, marking the first time a jazz musician won the award. Lyambiko will be accompanied by Marque Lowenthal (piano), Robin Draganic (bass), and Heinrich Koebberling (drums), while Spalding will perform with her 12-piece band.
