Turkey’s net public debt stock was down to 290.5 billion Turkish liras at the end of 2011. The Turkish Treasury Undersecterariat released the net public debt stock statistics on March 30, saying the debt stock had dropped 2.5 billion liras to 290.5 billion liras at the end of 2011, as compared to the third quarter of 2011. It was 293 billion liras in the third quarter of 2011.
