Large fire at textile plant causes fear
AA PhotoA textile factory in the northwestern provinces of Bursa caught fire July 28, triggering fears that the blaze could spread.
Firefighters on the ground intervened against the fire in Osmangazi while receiving support from the air. Smoke over the plant was visible from many parts of the city.
Twenty-five teams of firefighters have been battling to extinguish the fire.
The plant, which covers an area of 120,000 square meters, is an important producer in Bursa.
No causalities were reported.
