Istanbul Bourse set to go public

Borsa Istanbul (BIST), the new exchange body that has merged stock and gold exchanges under a single umbrella organization, has announced that it will be ready to go public by the end of 2015.

BIST head İbrahim Turhan said after strategic partnerships and regional cooperation BIST would be prepared for a public offering during the launch of Listing Istanbul, which is all the work on promotion, information, communication and marketing to increase the number of foreign companies on BIST.

Turhan said there had been developments regarding strategic partnerships they could announce by July.
