Eight football players from the second-division Çaykur Rizespor’s reserve team were left out of the club’s squad after posting a Harlem Shake video on social media.The footballers shot the video in a hotel room during a camp before an away game against Erzurum Büyükşehir Belediyespor.
The eight footballers were removed from the team list as a preliminary measure, and Rizespor was represented by a young team in the Erzurum game, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The team's administration will rule on the future of the players at a meeting on April 13.
