Airline to fly to Bremen

Turkish Airlines, Turkey’s national flag carrier, is to start direct flights from Istanbul to Bremen, Germany, a spokeswoman from Bremen airport has said.The flights will run four times a week beginning in summer 2012, said Florian Kruse.
Bremen airport and Turkish Airlines officials have been in talks to start the direct flights for the last two years, she said.
Earlier this year, the Bremen-İzmir Sister City Association submitted a petition, with 1,174 signatures, to Bremen airport management for Turkish Airlines to start direct flights to the northern German city.
