Turkish piano virtuoso plays at historic station

Turkish piano virtuoso Tuluyhan Uğurlu will perform a concert at Istanbul’s historic Sirkeci train station on Dec. 15 and 16. In the concert, Uğurlu will tell the story of the adventures of people on the rails since the beginning of the 19th century with photos and poetic texts.

The concert is part of a project titled “Meeting in Historical Trains Stations,” which is currently organizing events in train stations across Turkey. The history of the Orient Express, which used to arrive at Sirkeci station after departing from Paris and traveling through Europe.
