Last day for The Hüsn-i Hat exhibition The Hüsn-i Hat exhibition at the Hagia Sophia Museum was visited by 400,000 people in one week, and has been extended to May 2 due to the large interest shown.

The exhibition was organized for the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad and has attracted considerable interest from the public. Islamic arts professional and academic Uğur Derman has acted as the exhibition’s consultant. The exhibition contains very rare examples of Islamic calligraphy, including the calligraphic works of Ottoman Sultans such as Mahmud II, Selim III, Murad III, and Abdülmecid I.
