Gala catwalk fascinates participants

Within the scope of the 16th Eurasian Economic Summit, Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations (IHKIB), a great supporter of the event, organized a catwalk, which fascinated the participants to the gala dinner on April 9.

The samples from the up-to-date local fashion design was presented to the summit’s guests with a show by designer Lug Von Siga, under the leadership of İHKİB.

Fashion show becomes tradition

The show, which was held at at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Istanbul, has became almost a tradition of the Eurasia summits. Marmara Group Foundation President Akkan Surver gave presents to the designer and organizers to mark the magnificent evening.

A top Hamas political official told The Associated Press the Islamic militant group is willing to agree to a truce of five years or more with Israel and that it would lay down its weapons and convert into a political party if an independent Palestinian state is established along pre-1967 borders.
