Famous Turkish pianist faces jail term for anti-religious Tweets

An Istanbul court has accepted an indictment against prominent Turkish pianist Fazıl Say for his remarks in support of atheism, Doğan news agency reported.The indictment calls for the pianist to be sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for "insulting the religious values of a section of society."
According to allegations, Say said in a Tweet that “wherever there is a stupid person or a thief, they are believers in God. Is this a paradox?”
On a different occasion, Say tweeted, “After tonight, everyone in the country will be an atheist.”
