Turkey repays $1.1 bln in foreign debt in February

Turkey repays $1.1 bln in foreign debt in February

Turkey repaid 1.1 billion USD in foreign debt in February 2012, the country's central bank said today.

According to central bank's weekly data, total debt repaid by the Turkish Treasury alone was $474 million.

Turkey repaid a total of 12.8 billion USD in foreign debt in 2011.
