‘Karamel’ the squirrel gets prosthetics

ISTANBUL

A squirrel adopted by Istanbul man Tayfun Demir after losing both of his front paws in a trap set by hunters in the eastern province of Batman has received the world’s first prosthetic limbs for squirrels. The squirrel, named ‘Karamel,’ is now awaiting the final completion of her prosthetics at Istanbul’s Aydın University.
