Eurasian Economic Summit to convene

ISTANBUL
Statesmen from 40 different countries will attend the Eurasian Economic Summit this year between April 7 and 9, Dr. Akkan Suver,  the president of the organizer Marmara Group Foundation said on March 24.

Suver was speaking during a joint conference with the President of Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations (IHKIB) Hikmet Tanrıverdi, famous fashion designer Nej and Secretary General of Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu in Istanbul on March 24.

The event has turned into a prestigious unity as it is accepted in Balkans, Caucasus and also as it is in Europe and Far East, Suver said.

“We would like you to know that we are putting high importance to the TANAP project between Azerbaijan – Turkey. TANAP is not just an economy or energy project, because of that we are opening the floor for this with a session in our Summit,” he said.

President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic, President of Macedonia Prof. Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, Vice President of Azerbaijan Prof. Dr. Ali Hasanov, Prime Minister of Bosnia Herzegovina Vjekoslav Bevanda and together with him the President of the Federation Marinko Cavara will attend the summit.

Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Çiçek and Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu will also attend the summit from Turkey.
