Daire Gallery hosts joint show
Daire Gallery is hosting a group exhibition, “A Figment of One’s Imagination,” consisting of three-dimensional works and installations by Bahadır Çolak, Ebru Yılmaz Kale, Ece Akay and Tuğberk Selçuk. Benedetto Croce, the Italian philosopher, said: “The artist sorts through impressions of nature by employing imagination and creativity, to combine and transform these impressions into a narrative.” The concepts of perception, memory, intelligence and fantasy, which can be discussed within this framework, could be considered as the trigger of artistic production. All the works in the exhibition are unique products of the artists’ imagination, referring to various topics and objectifying imagination in the three-dimensional realm. “A Figment of One’s Imagination” can be viewed at Daire Gallery until June 29.
