Çukurova Book Fair opens

The first book fair of the year, the 9th Çukurova Book Fair will be organized between Jan. 9 and at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in the southern province of Adana.

The fair will be held for nine days due to its 9th year anniversary. Nearly 250 publishing house and nongovernmental organizations will be attending to this year’s fair, where there will be 70 different cultural events including panels, dialogues and special programs for children.

The producers of publishing houses in many different genres including religious, historical and literary as well as children books and periodicals will join and bring together readers and authors. 

Several publishing houses around the world, including Tughra Books and Blue Dome Press in English, Editorial la Fuente in Spanish, Dar al-Nile in Arabic, Editions Du Nil in French, Novi Svet in Russian and periodicals like The Fountain Magazine, Ebru Magazine, Hira Magazine, Noviye Grani and Revista Cascada will join the fair. 

The publishing houses will display their books and give 30 percent discounts to book lovers during the fair.
