Japanese film fest at Levent Culture Center

The eighth Japanese
Film Festival, jointly organized by the
Japan Foundation and Beşiktaş Municipality, will take place between Jan. 26 and 29 at
Istanbul’s Levent Culture Center.
Ten films including contemporary Japanese films and animation will be screened at the festival.
Films include “Our Wonderful Days,” “The Chef of South Polar,” “One Million Yen Girl,” “The Recipe for Fortune,” “Happy Flight,” “A Midsummer’s Okinawan Dream,” “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” “Colorful” and “Kappa no Sanpei.”
Films will be shown in Japanese with Turkish subtitles. Attendance to the event is free of charge.
