Islamic trade chambers meet in Istanbul

The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) is holding its 28th general assembly today under the auspices of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) in Istanbul.

TOBB President and ICCI Vice President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) President Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, ICCI President Sheikh Saleh Kamel are all attending the opening ceremony.

The ICCI, which is tied to the OIC, brings together chambers of trade, industry, unions and federations from 57 countries.
