Turkish electronics and domestic appliances maker Vestel announced it signed a 999.7 million Turkish Liras agreement with the Transportation Minister on Jan. 9 as part of Turkey’s technological education project Fatih.

The company will provide more than 347,367 “interactive boards” to the ministry for 999.7 million, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Jan. 9.

In the beginning of December, Vestel had said it placed the lowest bid for smart boards tender for which companies offered their bids in July.
