Venezuela’s President Maduro to visit Turkey for talks

ANKARA

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro will pay a two-day visit to Turkey on Oct. 5 and 6 and will be hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Turkish Presidency has announced.

The two presidents will discuss regional and international issues and exchange views, a written statement issued by the Turkish Presidency said. It added that the Joint Cooperation Commission will realize its second meeting under the leadership of the two countries’ foreign ministers.

Maduro will also come together with Turkish businessmen at a Turkey-Venezuela Business Forum meeting to be organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in Ankara.
