Turkish, US delegations hold surprise Gülen talks
AA photoDelegations from the United States and Turkey held a surprise meeting on the issue of the extradition of U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen in Washington on May 10.
The unexpected meeting lasted for six hours, which followed four hour talks on May 9. The talks were scheduled to conclude on May 9, but they were extended at the request of Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ.
In addition to ministry officials, three prosecutors from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office attended the talks.
