Turkish student receives Obama fellowship

A Turkish-American student is among 141 U.S. high school students receiving a presidential fellowship from President Barack Obama, private broadcaster NTV reported on its website.

Ezgi Üstündağ, a student at Ames High School in Iowa, was notified of her receipt of the fellowship in a letter sent by the Department of Education to her high school.

Üstündağ plans to attend Duke University beginning in August.
