Turkish, Russian FMs discuss Aleppo crisis
Turkish and Russian foreign ministers spoke over the phone about the situation in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Dec17, according to a diplomatic source.
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his counterpart Sergey Lavrov discussed the developments in Aleppo, especially the evacuation of civilians from the city, the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.
The source said the ministers also discussed the details of an upcoming meeting about Syria in Moscow, where Turkey, Russia and Iran will come together on Dec. 27.
During the conversation, Lavrov also conveyed his condolences to Cavuşoğlu over the attack that hit Turkey's central province of Kayseri on Dec.17, which left at least 13 soldiers killed and 56 others wounded.
