Turkish boss receives Med leadership award

Top Turkish businessman Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been honored with a Mediterranean Leadership Award by the American Johns Hopkins University for his contribution to stability and economic cooperation in Southeast Europe.

Along with Hisarcıklıoğlu, chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), former Libyan President Mohamed Yousef el-Magariaf, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen and U.S. Congressman Robert Aderholt were jointly recognized with the award, TOBB said in a statement.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said he that he was glad for the acknowledgment of Turkish businesspeople’s performance.
