Turkic-speaking ministers meet up

The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States’ (CCTS) working groups gathered in the Azerbaijani capital Baku yesterday. The working groups were divided into four different thematic subheadings: “Improvement of Investment Climate,” “Improvement of Transportation,” Policy for Economic Diversification” and “Entrepreneurship as Economic Relations’ Base.” The meeting of the working groups follows on the heels of signed proceedings in Astana Kazakhstan on Oct. 13, 2011.

The working groups are expected to prepare an official report following their meeting, which is set to be signed by the economy ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at a meeting today.
The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States was established in 2009 with the aim of promoting cooperation among Turkic Speaking States.
