Rock band to take stage in Istanbul tomorrow

Guillemots are taking the stage at Babylon on Nov. 23. The concert starts at 9:30 p.m. and tickets are available at www.biletix.com. The BRIT Award-nominated indie rock band was formed in 2004 by Fyfe Dangerfield. The band consists of four members: British Fyfe Dangerfield on vocals, keyboard and guitars; Brazilian MC Lord Magrão on bass, accordion, xylophone, theremin and synth bass; Canadian Aristazabal Hawkes on double bass and percussion and Scottish Greig Stewart on drums and percussion. Their first album, Through the Windowpane, was nominated for the 2006 Mercury Music Prize. Their second album, Red, came out in 2008. After touring all through 2008 and Fyfe releasing a solo record the band finished their third record, Walk the River, in 2011.
