Pop diva on Istanbul stage
Lisa Stansfield, a soul and pop diva from the 1990s, will perform at the Harbiye Open Air Theater tonight. Stansfield will perform songs from her new album, as well as classics. Earlier this month, Stansfield announced that her seventh studio album titled “Seven” would be released on Oct. 7. The first single, “Can’t Dance” premiered on Ken Bruce’s BBC Radio 2 show. Written and produced in the United Kingdom by Stansfield and Ian Devaney, “Seven” features tracks such as: “Can’t Dance,” “The Rain,” “Stupid Heart,” “Conversation,” “The Crown,” “Strong,” “So Be It” and “Picket Fence.” Istanbul is one stop on Stanfield’s promotional tour. Stansfield has sold over 20 million records worldwide.
