Police raid YouTube series set in Adana after call over fake weapons

DHA PhotoPolice teams in the southern Turkish province of Adana on Dec. 9 raided an apartment used as a set for a YouTube series, after receiving calls from local residents about its storage of fake long-barreled weapons, which they thought were real.
Adana police raided the apartment in the two-story building in the Çınarlı neighborhood of the Seyhan district, where the amateur actors of online series “Adana 01” were filming a new episode.
The raid came after residents of the neighborhood thought the fake long-barred weapons brought to the set for the scenery were real and were being stocked by criminals.
Arriving at the apartment, police teams confronted the actors of the show in front of their cameras, and left the scene after realizing their mistake.
