Inspired by three continents, the percussionists Amy Salsgiver and Alex Baker perform both their own music and the modern repertoire with an interpretation unique to their personalities as much as to their instruments. Having stepped out to the world from the United States, Amy Salsgiver never stops making music, from New York to London and from there to Dublin, and now in Istanbul. English musician Alex Baker on the other hand, having stepped in the music world playing the violin and piano, now continuously climbs up the ladder of fame parallel to his virtuosity, playing percussions and timpani. One of many common points between the duo members is that they have always collaborated with musicians who are highly original and successful like themselves.
Their repertoire embraces classical music as well as contemporary trends, jazz, pop, and rock and adding their personal success on top of that most catching music, it seems that Salsgiver and Baker will be on the international scene together for a very long time. The duo will bring more fans aboard for their energetic, authentic and witty performance at the Borusan Music House.
