Main opposition leader says presidency report ‘fabricated’

The main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made crystal clear he is not intending to run in the 2014 presidential elections.

“It is entirely an ‘asparagus’ report,” Kılıçdaroğlu said in response to reporters’ questions over news reports suggesting he would run in the 2014 elections for presidency. “Asparagus” is used in Turkish as term used for fabricated or manipulated news reports.

“There is no such thing,” Kılıçdaroğlu briefly added.
