Latin festival to be held at weekend

Turkey’s only Latin music festival, Carnaval Latino, will be host to famed artists in its second year. The festival will start on Sept. 21 at Lifepark in Istanbul’s Sarıyer and offer an entertaining day full of dance.

Marcadonegra Orchestra, which is regarded as the most vibrant and talent rich orchestra of the last decade, Rodrigo Dance Studio, Grammy Award winning vocal of Latin music, Frankie Morales and Turkey’s best known Latin music band Ayhan Sicimoğlu & Latin All Stars will take the stage at the event.

The festival, which will also stage workshops and Latin dance courses, drew 8,000 people last year.
