Istanbul Modern Museum hosts Germany

Istanbul Modern Museum hosts Germany The Istanbul Modern Museum will hold the third edition of its talk series on May 24, with the guest country Germany.

“Ellen Blumenstein, chief curator of the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin will be sharing her experiences [and discussing] whether museums are mediators or producers of culture,” Istanbul Modern said in a statement.

Organized in collaboration with the Goethe-Institute Istanbul, the event will bring together museum professionals to “discuss the German models of museums and art institutions.”

Germany is the third guest in the series, following the U.S. and the U.K.

The event is free of charge and the talks will be in English.
