Incomplete applications fill high court

ANKARA
Seventy percent of the 53 applications lodged to the Constitutional Court through the newly introduced individual-access mechanism were incomplete, officials from the individual application office said yesterday.

A total of 53 applications have been received since the new mechanism opened on Sept. 24, Anatolia news agency reported, citing the same officials. The applicants have been given time to complete their applications properly. The most common issue with applications is that hand-written petitions are submitted rather than the “individual application form” provided by the Constitutional Court primarily for this mechanism and are missing information it requires.
