Georgian PM to visit Turkey

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is set to arrive in Ankara on Feb. 14 for an official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In addition to Erdoğan, Ivanishvili will also hold talks with President Abdullah Gül and Parliament Speaker Cemil Çiçek, the prime ministry’s press office said in a statement.

Opportunities to further improve bilateral relations and model cooperation between the two countries will be discussed at the meetings, the statement said, adding that regional and international issues would also be discussed.
