Your personal data will be processed on the basis of the following legal grounds and purposes set forth under Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Law (‘KVKK’); ● Provided that it does not prejudice the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, processing of personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller: conducting customer relationship management processes, conducting communication activities, providing after-sales support services for goods/services, following up requests/complaints, conducting the necessary research and examinations for the fulfillment of support services regarding the subject matter of the request, and providing you with information and support services. |

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Regarding your personal data;
● to learn whether your personal data are processed,
● to request information regarding your personal data if they have been processed,
● to learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
● to know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
● to request the rectification of your personal data if they are incomplete or inaccurate,
● to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated under the KVKK legislation,
● to request that, in case you request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data or the deletion or destruction of your personal data, such request be notified to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
● to object to the emergence of a result to your detriment through the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems, and
● to request compensation in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

How Can You Exercise Your Rights?
You may submit your applications and requests regarding your personal data by using the Data Subject Application Form available on our website, if you wish;
● by sending an e-mail to kvkk@hurriyet.com.tr through the e-mail address you have previously notified to HDN,
● by applying in person with a valid identity document,
● by sending to the address 100. Yıl Mah., 2264. Sok., No:1, Demirören Medya Center, Bağcılar/İstanbul with a wet signature and a copy of your identity document,
● by signing with mobile signature or secure electronic signature and sending an e-mail to kvkk@hurriyet.com.tr,
● by sending to the registered electronic mail (KEP) address hurriyet@hs02.kep.tr using your registered electronic mail (KEP) address together with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature,
you may submit them to HDN.”
In accordance with the Circular on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller, The Data Subject's application must include their first name, surname, signature if the application is in writing, Turkish ID number (or passport number if the applicant is a foreign national), address of residence or place of work for notification purposes, email address for notification purposes (if available), telephone number, fax number, and information regarding the subject of the request.
The Data Subject must clearly and comprehensively state the matter requested in the application, which must include explanations regarding the rights they intend to exercise and the rights they request to exercise, as specified above. Information and documents relating to the application must be attached to the application.
The subject matter of the request must relate to the applicant themselves; however, if the request is made on behalf of another person, the applicant must be authorised to do so and this authorisation must be documented (power of attorney). If the application involves special category data, the applicant must be specifically authorised for this purpose in accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation on Personal Health Data. Furthermore, the application must include identity and address details, and documents verifying the identity must be attached to the application.
Requests made by unauthorized third parties on behalf of others shall not be taken into consideration
How Long Does It Take to Respond to Your Requests Regarding the Processing of Your Personal Data?
Your requests concerning your personal data will be evaluated and responded to within a maximum of 30 days from the date they are received by the relevant department. In the event that your application is rejected, the reasons for such rejection will be communicated to you, primarily via the e-mail or postal address you have specified in your application, or, if possible, through the method by which the request was made.
