Charlotte Gainsbourg on Istanbul stage
British actress and singer-songwriter Charlotte Gainsbourg, the daughter of British actress and singer Jane Birkin and French actor and singer Serge Gainsbourg, will be performing her third album “Stage Whisper” at KüçükÇiftlik Park on June 23. Gainsbourg has been acting since she was 13, the same age that the first glimmer of her parallel musical career were seen when she sang with her father on the song “Lemon Incest” in 1984. He produced her first album “Charlotte for Ever” two years later after which she put her music career on hiatus until 2006 when she released her second album “5:55” to critical acclaim.
