400 million euro worth of lease certificates to be issued
The Finance and Treasury Ministry has announced that Euro denominated fixed rent rate lease certificates will be issued to the banks through direct sale method on Dec. 24 in local market.
Participants have to submit their bids on Dec. 20, the ministry said in a statement on Dec. 19.
The issue amount will be 400 million euros, the statement added.
It said that it issues the Euro denominated fixed rent rate lease certificates in order to develop the domestic lease certificate market.
On Dec. 12, the ministry announced that in order to diversify the borrowing instruments and to broaden investor base, it will issue the Euro-denominated and U.S. dollar- denominated government bonds to resident and non-resident individual investors Dec. 17-21.
It also said gold bonds and lease certificates will be issued to individual investors to bring the idle gold into the economy starting from Dec. 17.
