Italian pharmacists are threatening to pull the drug Viagra of pharmacy shelves in April in an effort to protest the government’s plans to liven the markets by opening 5,000 new pharmacies.

Italian Pharmacies’ Union Head Loredana Vasselli said that pharmacies have decided to stop selling Viagra as of April and have chosen this particular drug since its absence does not leave customers face to face with a serious health condition, according to the Anatolia news agency.
