Swiss firm to found call center in Diyarbakır

DHA PhotoA Switzerland-based company, Logic Versicherungstreuhand Gmbh, will establish a call center in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, which it says will employ 200 personnel.
A delegation from the company came to inspect the province on Sept. 17, accompanied by officials from the Economy Ministry and the Karacacadağ Development Agency. The company, which provides brokering services to insurance firms, was clear on its decision to invest in Diyarbakır, however it will only officially do so upon the completion of a number of construction projects in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolian provinces, according to its owner Erdal Karakaş.
Logic Versicherungstreuhand Gmbh also has a call center in which 173 people work in Kosovo.
The call center set to be opened in Diyarbakır aims to reach 45,000 customers a year, and the company is currently seeking German-speaking staff to work in it.
Logic Versicherungstreuhand Gmbh yielded a net profit of 14 million Turkish Liras ($7 million) last year.
