Turkish Spider-Man amuses children in tent city
Burak Soylu, known as Turkey’s Spider-Man, visited the tent city set up by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) at Bornova Stadium, following a magnitude 6.6 earthquake that hit the western province of Izmir on Oct. 30 to entertain children and lend support to the victims. Soylu, who travels across the country wearing the Spider-Man costume to amuse, especially children, delivered toys to the kids and picked groceries for the quake victims.
Turkish Spider-Man helped citizens to increase their morale during the “Stay at Home” period to raise awareness about the COVID-19 outbreak.
