Spanish dancing fish spotted in Turkey’s Saros Gulf
Spanish dancing fish spotted in Turkey’s Saros Gulf
A diver in Turkey has spotted the Spanish dancing fish in the Gulf of Saros, located in the Keşan district of the northwestern province of Edirne.
Ender Özgen, who was diving off the Enez district, captured the natural assets of the sea with his underwater camera.
While doing that, he also encountered the Spanish dancing fish about 10 meters deep in the sea.
Speaking to state-run Anadolu Agency, Özgen said that he has been diving in the gulf for 20 years and spotted the fish only two times.
Stating that the fish swim as if it’s putting up a dancing show, he said, “These fishes are known for their elegant swim. They are truly worth watching.”
Özgen also said that the Spanish dancing fish are generally spotted in warm waters, such as the Red Sea.
With waters heating up due to climate change, the fish’s habitat may have expanded, he added.
