Kebab wars: Who makes the best?
Kebab wars: Who makes the best?
The rivalry between kebab masters in Turkey’s provinces of Şanlıurfa and Adana is not new to us, where the two have been clashing for many years, claiming their version to be the best. (DHA Photo)
Chefs in Şanlıurfa proudly call their province to be the “land of kebabs” and to prove it, they are ready to compete in front of a jury, while chefs in Adana claim that people from all over the world come especially to test their version of kebab and suggest to compare the statistics of the number of tourists visiting both cities.
So the question is, who makes the best kebab after all? A debate that could probably go on for many years to come.
