Mother kills son after he fails to learn Quran in Britain

mother in Cardiff, Britain has killed her 7-year-old son after getting angry
when he had difficulty learning the Quran,
The Telegraph has reported.
The
boy reportedly died from injures due to his mother’s beatings. It was first
thought that he had died in a house fire, after the mother set his body on fire
in order to get rid of the evidence.
The true cause of death was revealed
following a post-mortem investigation.
The
boy’s parents wanted their son to be a "hafız," or one who has
memorized the entire Quran, according to reports.
“I
was trying to teach him the Quran,” the mother reportedly told police. “I was
getting more and more frustrated. If he didn’t read it properly I would be very
angry — I would hit him.”
The
trial of the two parents continues.
