Match ticket fees see top price hike

Match ticket prices were hit by the highest price hike in May, with a 56 percent rise from the previous month, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce has said.According to the statement released from the chamber, the prices of some 68 goods were subject to increases last month. While the largest price increase was for the match entrance tickets based on single products, concerning the product groups of potato, lemon, minibus transportation fees and hotel prices were some of other items that faced large hikes. From an annual perspective, candy, bread and refrigerators’ prices saw the highest increase from a year earlier, with 27, 25 and 24 percent increases respectively.
