Young French musician Zaz is back once more to dazzle music lovers with her extraordinary voice in Turkey’s three largest cities, Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir.

She will be performing at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater in Istanbul on July 28, the İzmir Arena on July 29 and the ODTÜ Vişnelik Concert Area in Ankara on July 30.

A smoky voice redolent of Edith Piaf, Zaz - or Isabelle Geffroy- was born in 1980 in France. She studied music theory, violin, and choir from age five, and had her first stage performance with blues band “Fifty Fingers.” A street musician, Zaz was discovered performing on the streets of Paris. She came onto the music scene in 2009’s “Generation Reservoir” competition and rose to the top with her 2010 album “Zaz.” Having gained popularity in Turkey with her song “Je Veux,” Zaz’s performance is highly anticipated, according to Turkish ticket sale website Biletix.
