Czech skier Sarka Zahrobska has been released from the hospital after undergoing surgery to remove a tumor on her pituitary gland.

Ceska Sportovni, an agency which represents Zahrobska, said Monday she was released over the weekend from Prague’s military hospital.

The 2007 slalom world champion had to be hospitalized three weeks ago because of acute neurological problems and underwent surgery on July 11.

The agency said Zahrobska will need several weeks to recuperate and further health tests will determine when she can gradually resume training.

Zahrobska said she will be watching the London Olympics on television in the meantime.

Zahrobska took second place at the 2009 worlds and claimed bronze at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics but has been struggling the past two World Cup seasons.
