A total of 115 detention warrants were issued for 115 people in 15 provinces across Turkey over alleged links to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).

An operation was launched early on Oct. 13 to apprehend those with suspected links to FETÖ, widely believed to have been behind the July 2016 coup attempt.

Those sought are accused of “being members of and managing an armed terrorist organization,” “violating the law regarding the prevention of financing of terrorism,” “violating the tax procedure law,” “forgery in official documents,” “fraud via abusing religious feelings,” “laundering the income of assets stemming from crime” and “violating the law on collecting aid.”

Some 124 addresses were raided as part of the operation centered in Istanbul and a total of 53 suspects were detained as of noon on Oct. 13. The search to apprehend the remaining 62 is reportedly ongoing.
