Works by world-famous artists will be showcased at the ArtInternational fair to be held between Sept. 4 and 6 in Istanbul.

The third ArtInternational will gather pieces by pop-art icon Andy Warhol, British contemporary artist Grayson Perry, English graffiti artist Banksy, Catalan artist Joan Miro and Belgian multidisciplinary artist Jan Fabre.

The contemporary and modern art fair will feature 83 galleries from 24 countries.

Nine works from “established and emerging” artists have been chosen for this year’s event from the fair’s participating galleries.

Bulgarian artist Rada Boukova, Turkish artist Guido Casaretto, Kazakh artist Erbossyn Meldibekov, Indonesian Ichwan Noor, Bulgarian artist Stefan Bikolaev, Ecuadorian Javier Perez, German Paul Schwer, Iraqi Walid Siti and Chinese artist Chen Wenling will have their works displayed at the Haliç Congress Center.

There will also be a dedicated sculpture terrace called “By the Waterside” located on the pier in front of the Haliç Congress Center.

“’By the Waterside’ will continue to engage, delight and surprise visitors, offering challenging works from established and emerging artists,” said fair director Dyala Nusseibeh.
